The skies are grey,
yet my heart is blue.
The winds scream, ‘Hey’
as my feelings turn true.
I have awaited you and your beauty,
and all that I may know.
The wind blows softly and I feel I may grow.
It is in the being of my sensual,
that I find all that I may need.
I love all that is intellectual,
and my feelings I do heed.
Your hand is warm and large,
it caresses my face.
I feel the beating of my heart,
leave about a single trace.
Of your smile I see nothing,
but I feel your love,
I peer into the eyes of everything you are most certainly made of.
We walk along the shore,
avoiding the rocks we know all too well.
I ask you if you would like more,
of that which makes my heart swell.
Your eyes are a color,
I have seldomly seen.
Its like they are mixture,
of natures blue and green.
The Blood I feel you have also,
could let me live forever and a day.
I feel your arms around my torso,
hold me in every way.
I travelled with you to see the waters,
of evergreen and fog.
I am a child of the forests and so I talk.
You walk with me to the garden,
of love, truth and care,
I feel the skin around my feet harden,
as we play in the ground truth or dare.
And as we look beyond our skin,
we feel the light of joy.
You feel me, deep and soothing within,
you feel me being coy.
I gently lift the shirt I wear,
to show you my hidden scars.
We always promised to share,
the fuel that fed the stars.
But not the fuel you’d think it to be,
no no it was something else.
We would sit and ponder about letting each other see,
that indeed to each other we are of help.
I am even more patient now not doubting what I know.
My heart has told me many things,
but my soul will always glow.
It is unto you that I give my mind,
so you may look after it.
Do not ever leave it behind,
for there is too much courage.
And yes I speak my mind to you,
and let you know the deal.
Yet for all I feel when I hear the truth,
is how you make it all real.
